§ 1 Introduction
Adam Trojańczyk who runs a blog under the address trojanczyk.eu, hereinafter referred to as “trojanczyk.eu”, introduces this Privacy and Cookies Policy together with information on the processing of personal data, hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”.
§ 2 User
The term “User” shall mean an Internet user visiting the website www.trojanczyk.eu, hereinafter referred to as the “Portal”.
§ 3 Information obligation
- Any personal data that the User enters into a form or provides when contacting trojanczyk.eu shall be processed in a manner consistent with the requirements set out in the law, primarily Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, hereinafter referred to as “RODO”.
- When a visitor to the website leaves a comment, we collect the data visible in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser signature as an aid to spam detection.
- An anonymised string created from your email address (known as a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to verify that you are using it. The privacy policy of the Gravatar service is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture is publicly visible in the context of your comment.
- Fulfilling the obligation of Article 13 RODO, trojanczyk.eu informs about the principles of processing of Users’ personal data:
- Administrator
The administrator of Users’ personal data is Adam Trojanczyk. Users have the possibility to contact the administrator of their personal data via the contact form available on the Portal. - Why do we need Users’ data, i.e. for what purpose do we process it?
The User’s personal data will be processed for:- responding to the User’s message,
- to make contact with the User in relation to the message sent by the User and for the purpose of establishing cooperation on the submitted project,
- for marketing and analytical purposes, consisting of researching the traffic and visits of the Users on the Portal, and adjusting the content of the Portal to the personal preferences of the Users.
- Do Users need to provide us with their data?
In order to make contact with trojanczyk.eu, the User must fill in an appropriate form. It is required to provide certain personal data, in particular first and last name and e-mail address. In the content of your message you can commission us with a task or tell us about your projects and ideas. Providing personal data in the form is voluntary, however, it is necessary to respond to the User and establish contact with the User. trojanczyk.eu reserves the right not to reply to the message in the case of incorrect data provision in the contact form. - On what legal basis do we process User data?
To the extent that the User’s personal data are necessary to take action prior to the conclusion of a contract concerning cooperation on a submitted project and a task commissioned to us, the legal basis for data processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the RODO. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is also Article 6(1)(f) RODO. The administrator’s legitimate interest is to respond to the User’s message or resolve the issue reported by the User, as well as to carry out marketing of trojanczyk.eu and services provided by trojanczyk.eu, including analysis of User traffic on the Portal. If you have given separate consent to the transfer of your personal data outside the EEA, the legal basis for processing will also be Article 6(1)(a) RODO. - To whom will we transfer the Users’ data?
Recipients of Users’ personal data will be: entities providing hosting of the Portal, entities dealing with its security, providers of tools for analytics of traffic on the Portal and marketing, entities providing tools enabling the User to establish contact with trojanczyk.eu and providers of tools for sending e-mails to Users. - What rights do you have?
You have the right to access your personal data, to portability of your data, and you may verify or rectify your data, as well as delete your data or restrict processing, by addressing an appropriate request to trojanczyk.eu - Can you withdraw your consent to data processing?
Yes. To the extent that the processing of your data is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. However, this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing that took place on the basis of your consent before revocation. - What can you do if you believe that we are processing your data in breach of legal requirements?
You have the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority, which in Poland is the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection. - How long will we process Users’ data?
Personal data processed in the scope of conducting marketing activities will be processed for the duration of their conduct by trojanczyk.eu or the User’s expression of objection to further processing of personal data. Personal data processed in connection with establishing contact or resolving a reported case will be processed for the time needed to respond to the User’s message and resolve the reported case or for the time of limitation of claims related to the resolved case. Personal data necessary to take action prior to entering into a contract regarding cooperation on a reported project or commissioned task will be processed for the duration of the contract and the time necessary to demonstrate its proper execution, i.e. the statute of limitations for claims or tax liabilities. - Once the User has provided us with the data, can he/she object to the processing?
To the extent that the processing of data takes place for the purposes of direct marketing, the User has the right to object to the processing of data, which objection does not require justification. When trojanczyk.eu processes the User’s data on the basis of other legitimate purposes, the User has the right to object justified by his/her particular situation. - Will your data be transferred outside the EEA?
Your data may be transferred to third countries outside the European Economic Area, in particular to trojanczyk.eu’s partners based o the USA, based on your explicit consent or when this is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures taken at your request. Where the transfer of data outside the EEA will take place on the basis of consent, the User will be informed of the possible risks that the proposed transfer of data may entail before it is granted.

- trojanczyk.eu uses technical measures required by current regulations on personal data protection to prevent unauthorised persons from obtaining and modifying personal data sent electronically.
§ 4 Cookies
- trojanczyk.eu uses cookies, i.e. small text information stored on the User’s terminal device (e.g. computer, tablet, smartphone). Cookies can be read by the ICT system of trojanczyk.eu.
- trojanczyk.eu stores cookies on the User’s terminal device and then accesses the information contained in them for purposes:
- marketing purposes consisting in collecting information on what actions the User has taken on the Portal, i.e. which links have been clicked by the User and which pages of the Portal have been visited, adjusting Portal content to the User’s interests and needs, including through the generation of personalised content,
- securing surveys and online polls carried out by trojanczyk.eu against multiple voting by the same persons,
- serving counters of visits, using polls, remembering the selected language version,
- for statistical purposes, in particular to enable trojanczyk.eu to analyse how Users use the Portal.
§ 5 Browser configuration
- trojanczyk.eu also informs Users that it is possible to configure the web browser in such a way that it prevents cookies from being stored on the User’s final device.
- trojanczyk.eu also indicates that cookies can be deleted by the User after they have been stored by trojanczyk.eu through: the relevant functions of the web browser, programs used for this purpose or using the appropriate tools available within the operating system used by the User.

- trojanczyk.eu also informs Users that changing the configuration of the Internet browser which prevents or restricts the storage of cookies on the User’s terminal equipment may result in limitations to the functionality of the services provided. Deleting cookies during the provision of the service may lead to similar consequences. This may result in an inability to log in to the Portal or an interruption of the session after logging in.
§ 6 Use of Google Analytics
- The Portal uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc., hereinafter referred to as “Google”.
- Google uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer or other device, to enable the Portal to analyse how users use the Portal. The information generated by the cookies about your use of the Portal (including your IP address) will be transmitted to Google and stored on its servers .
- Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the Portal, compiling reports on website traffic for website operators and providing other services relating to website traffic and internet usage.
- Google may also transfer this information to third parties if it is obliged to do so by law or in the event that such third parties process such information on Google’s behalf.

§ 7 Use of Matomo
- The Portal uses Matomo, a web audience analysis service provided by Matomo, hereinafter referred to as Matomo.
- Matomo uses “cookies”, i.e. text files placed on the User’s computer or other device in order to enable the Portal to analyse how Users use the Portal. The information generated by cookies about the User’s use of the Portal (including the User’s IP address) will be transmitted to Matomo and stored on its servers .
- Matomo will use this information to evaluate the User’s use of the Portal, to create reports on website traffic for website operators and to provide other services related to website traffic and Internet use.
- Matomo may also provide this information to third parties if it is required to do so by law or where such third parties process such information on Matomo’s behalf.

§ 8 Final provisions
